Wentus Blues Band (FI)

It seems very unlikely, but this great blues band comes from a country that usually is famous for mobile phones, Formula 1 drivers and Santa Clause. Their name:  Wentus Blues Band. With an average of 100 shows per year the Wentus Blues Band is nowadays also known as one of the most hard-working bands in business. Lately they performed with numerous  notable artists, among them are CAREY BELL, EDDIE KIRKLAND, ERIC BIBB, GARY PRIMICH, KIM WILSON, LOUISIANA RED, MICK TAYLOR, PHIL GUY und SVEN ZETTERBERG, just to name a few…
So far the Wentus Blues Band has released seven albums and toured in 14 countries. On the occasion of their 20th anniversary on stage they invited many friends for three unforgettable concerts to Helsinki, calling it “Family Meeting”. The entire show was filmed and resulted in a great masterpiece which shows how the tradition of blues music lives on in the Wentus Blues Band.
These guys play the blues because they love it and to entertain the boogie loving crowd!
